The First Nation Disability Program at the Southern Chiefs’ Organization (SCO) is hosting a Substitute Decision Maker Workshop.

A substitute decision maker is a person who is authorized to make decisions on behalf of someone else who is unable to make their own decisions due to incapacity or disability.
This role often involves making choices about medical treatment, financial matters, and personal care. The person in this role ensures that the decisions align with the wishes and best interests of the person they are representing.
