Apply to the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada’s Board of Directors

March 26, 2026

Are you passionate about sport and ready to use your voice on a national stage?

The Southern Chiefs’ Organization (SCO) is sharing an opportunity from the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada (“the Centre”).

It provides a national, independent approach to resolving disputes in sport, helping ensure fairness, respect, and accountability across Canada’s sport system.

The Centre is seeking two athlete representatives to join its Board of Directors, which plays a key role in guiding its strategic direction, approving policies, and ensuring the resources are in place to meet the Centre’s goals.

SCO encourages First Nations athletes to apply. Use your voice, experience, and perspectives to make a positive impact. You can help create systems that are more inclusive, culturally informed, and equitable for all.

If you are an active athlete or have retired within the past eight years, this is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to sport in Canada while helping to elevate First Nations perspectives at the national level.

Submit your cover letter, curriculum vitae, and letter of reference to: nominationsportefeuille-portfolioappointments@pch.gc.ca

Apply by 1:59 am (Central Time), on April 16, 2026.
