Register for SCO’s Moccasin Making Workshop

November 13, 2025

This workshop is now FULL. A waitlist has been created. Should there be a cancellation the next person on the list will be contacted.

The First Nations Disability Program at the Southern Chiefs’ Organization (SCO) is hosting a four-day workshop so First Nations citizens who live with a disability can learn to make their own pair of moccasins.

There is no cost to attend the workshop. It is open to citizens of the 32 SCO member Nations.

Rhonda Chartrand of Pimose Makiziinak will guide participants through the process of making their own pair of moccasins.

Participants are welcome to bring a helper to support them throughout the workshop, if needed.

SCO can make accommodations to ensure everyone can take part in learning this skill.

Please note that participants must commit to attending all four days of the workshop.

Spots are limited to 10 people, so we encourage early registration!
