“We want to add our voices to the table… We want to look globally at what are the best practices.
To understand the lake and the basin is something that is a part of who *we* are.
The health of the lake and the river is a reflection of our health as a society.
We have to see it that way!
The health of our families and our communities, it is all connected to the lake.
The future is connected to that lake and so we have to see it that way.
We have to dialogue and converse that way.
… the more that we do that, the more we’ll build a broader understanding and respect for what needs to be done and how important that is for our children.”
