Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) is inviting the public to share feedback as part of the five-year review of “An Act respecting First Nations, Inuit and Métis children, youth and families.”
The Act came into effect on January 1, 2020. The five-year review will look at the Act and how it is working, including its purpose, provisions, the scope of Child and Family Services, and funding.
ISC is inviting feedback from Indigenous peoples, service providers, people with lived experience in child and family services, advocacy organizations, legal experts, governments, and anyone else who would like to participate.
You can share your experiences, feedback, and recommendations about the Act and how it is working.
You can provide feedback online, by email, or by mail.
