Save the Date: Indigenous Reconciliation Gathering in Winnipeg on June 20, 2026

March 23, 2026

The Southern Chiefs’ Organization (SCO) invites you to join our Indigenous Reconciliation Gathering!

  • Date: Saturday, June 20, 2026
  • Time: 10 am
  • Location: Canadian Forces Base (CFB), 680 Wihuri Road, Winnipeg, Treaty One Territory

This gathering is hosted in partnership with SCO, Manitoba Métis Federation, Manitoba Inuit Association, and CFB Winnipeg.

It was originally planned for June 2025 to mark the base’s 100th anniversary, but was postponed due to wildfires and evacuations.

The day is an opportunity to recognize the longstanding relationships between the Canadian Forces and Indigenous communities and to celebrate a shared commitment to reconciliation.
