The Southern Chiefs’ Organization (SCO) remembers our former SCO Youth Chief, Constable Evan Lilley.
As we approach the one-year anniversary of his passing, SCO is sharing information about an event to honour and celebrate his life.
Family, friends, and community are invited to gather on September 27, 2026, from 1 to 3 pm at the Portage Legion at 275 Duke Avenue in Portage La Prairie, Treaty One Territory.
This is an opportunity to celebrate Evan’s life, honour his memory, and reflect on the lasting impact of his love and spirit.
Constable Lilley will forever be remembered as SCO’s first male Youth Chief, for his service as a role model and as an inspiration to other SCO citizens. His legacy will live on.
