Fill Out Survey: Help Us Honour Children Who Attended Residential Schools

January 29, 2026

The Southern Chiefs’ Organization (SCO) is working with the Indian Residential School Commemoration Sub-Committee to create gathering spaces and monuments to honour residential school Survivors, their families, and the children who did not make it home.

This Sub-Committee decides which commemorations will be placed at the Manitoba Legislature and what they will look like.

SCO is inviting you to share your ideas through a short survey about how we can remember and honour the children who attended residential schools in Manitoba.

We especially encourage residential school Survivors to take part, as Survivor’s voices are central to this work.

To show our appreciation, those who complete the survey have the option to enter their name into a draw for one of two $100 gift cards.

You can find the survey here: https://forms.gle/wTvdipkRhkdMPbz76

The survey closes on March 1, 2026.
