My name is Angela Lynx, and I am from Tootinaowaziibeeng First Nation. I am a self taught beader and developed a passion for beading at the age of 18, learning through various YouTube tutorials. I continue to expand my knowledge by exploring new techniques with materials such as porcupine quills, birch bark, sweetgrass, and rabbit fur. I took an interest in beading to connect with my First Nations roots, and I am currently teaching my daughter to do the same. I am hoping to pass on my knowledge to my other children when they are ready to learn.
