Beading Workshop: August 11, 2023

Survivors and family members impacted by residential schools, day schools, the Sixties Scoop and child welfare system, and the national emergency of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, two spirit, and gender-diverse people are invited to attend a Beading Workshop.

Date: August 11, 2023
Time: 12:00 noon – 4:00 pm
Location: Boardroom of 105-1555 St. James Street, Winnipeg

At this workshop, facilitated by Joanne Soldier, participants will choose to bead either an orange shirt or a red dress. Lunch is included.

Bus tickets will be available to participants.

Our program provides support, information, advocacy, and systems navigation for southern First Nations citizens who are impacted by residential and day schools, the Sixties Scoop, the child welfare system, and the national emergency of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, two spirit, and gender-diverse people (MMIWG2S+).
