The Southern Chiefs’ Organization (SCO) is pleased to announce the first-ever Veterans Gathering for First Nations Veterans.
First Nations Veterans, their families, and service providers who work with Veterans are invited to join us on Monday, November 27 at the Hilton Winnipeg Airport Suites.
Veterans are anyone who has served in the military, whether it be for a year, or your entire career.
Join us as we honour our First Nations Veterans in a special way.
During the gathering, you will have the opportunity to contribute your ideas to developing new programs and services to support First Nation Veterans.
Hear from our Keynote Speaker, Jamie Wilson. Jamie is a First Nation Veteran who served in both the US and Canadian Armed Forces for 9 years. Wilson, grew up in a non-military family, but says his community has a proud history of serving during times of war.
