In light of recent national dialogue involving Wet’suwet’en sovereignty and construction of Coastal GasLink pipelines through unceded Wet’suwet’en territory, Southern Chiefs’ Organization (SCO) would like to host a discussion on the rights of First Nations in Nation-to-Nation relationships between Indigenous peoples and the Canadian State.
A Press Conference will be held Friday, February 21, 2020. A public statement will be issued and SCO Grand Chief Jerry Daniels alongside SCO-member First Nation Chiefs will be available for comment.
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
